Guest Manager Onboarding Wizard

Getting started with Guest Manager

1.

Using the login details provided to you by email, enter your account email and password.

There are three major components to the Onboarding Wizard:

General Info

Call Ahead Settings

Reservation Settings

To access the Onboarding Wizard, or any section of the Wizard itself, click on the Account tab.

You’ll notice when you login for the first time that you have notifications for these sections under the Account tab up top.

Set your restaurant name and address. Then, edit your hours. Up to two time periods can be added for each day.

Enabling "The List" app will allow guest to add themselves through the app. (see the App Store)

To add the call ahead/reservation widget to your website, enter your email address and select Send Instructions.

Edit your Confirmation and Table Ready text messages. You may return to the default by selecting reset messaging.

Enable call aheads in-app and through The List / website widget.

Edit your call ahead confirmation text messages.

Set call ahead maximum party size and pacing for call aheads per 20 min. (suggested)

Enable reservations in-app and through "The List" / website widget.

Set default maximum party size and pacing to be used in the reservation calendar.

Edit your confirmation text message if you choose.

 

7.

Set the calendar with your available reservation time periods. Multiple reservation periods can be added per day. Periods outside of open hours will give an error message. 

Enable Self Service Reservations.

8.

Select Update to save your changes. 

To return to the application select the Go back to Waitlist icon in the top right hand corner.
