Click on Main Menu>Settings>System Options>Clock In/Out.
Determine whether you want your Non-Exempt and/or Exempt employees to be automatically clocked in when they logon to the POS for the first time by placing a checkmark next to one or both options.
Note: If you turn this on, this will ensure your employees are clocked in prior to putting in any orders because it clocks them in upon their first login to the POS.
If you want your users to be auto-clocked out after a specific amount of time (i.e. 8 hours), toggle Auto Clock Out (Elapsed) on and enter in the number of hours/minutes.
If you’d like users to be clocked out automatically at a certain time of day (i.e. no one should be clocked in after 2am), toggle on Auto Clock Out (Time of Day) and enter the time of day. Make sure to select AM or PM.
By toggling on the Declare Tips setting, you will force servers to declare their cash tips at the end of their shift. Credit Card tips will be entered by them separately by selecting Main Menu>Tips either during their shift or before the end of the shift.
