New changes to POS Employee Labor Report Effective 9/25



Beginning in late September, we will be rolling out our most important upgrade to POS ever with version 6.24, which will include:


  • Multiple job assignments per employee
  • Enhanced user management
  • User-specific permissions
  • Easier timesheet management
  • And most importantly, the ability to do all this from the web

More information and screenshots can be found on CAKE University here.  To prepare for this monumental release, we will be upgrading the “Employee Clock In-Out” report on September 25. Because most of our merchants use this report regularly for payroll, we want you to be prepared for the new, upgraded format.


This upgrade will change the format of the report whether viewed (1) through the POS or (2) through the web or (3) via the Excel export. Screenshots of the new report can be found below, and examples of the old and new Excel export can be found here:












These report changes will occur for every merchant early in the morning on Monday, September 25. The many other new features of 6.24 will come when your POS is upgraded.
