Redeeming loyalty points through the POS is straightforward and efficient. Follow the steps below based on whether or not the customer has redeemable rewards available.

Attach the Loyalty Account:
- Ensure the customer’s loyalty account is linked to the order.
- On the Order Screen: Select the yellow loyalty button at the top of the order and enter the customer’s information (email or phone number) to attach their loyalty account to the order.
- On the Customer Touch Display (CTD): Ask the customer to select “Earn Rewards” and enter their information (email or phone number) directly on the CTD screen.

Select the ‘Pay’ Button:
- After confirming the loyalty account is attached, select the Pay button.
- A pop-up will appear, displaying the customer’s current point balance and any available rewards.

Apply the Reward:
- For Cashiers via the POS:
- Highlight the desired reward from the list displayed in the pop-up.
- Click Apply to use the reward.
- For Customers via the CTD:
- After the Pay button is selected, the CTD will display a Redeem Rewards screen.
- This screen notifies the customer that they have enough points for a discount.
- The screen asks if they’d like to redeem their points now.
- Customers can choose from the following options:
- Redeem Rewards: The discount is applied to the order immediately.
- Save for Later: The points remain unused, and the full order amount will be charged.
- Cancel: The customer opts out of redeeming their points for that transaction.

Confirm the Discount:
- If the reward is applied (either by the cashier or the customer):
- A green banner will appear at the top of the POS and CTD screen to confirm the successful application of the reward.
- The new total, reflecting the discount, will be displayed.

Complete the Payment Process:
- Proceed with the payment as usual to finalize the transaction.

- If the customer has no redeemable rewards, no pop-up will appear when the Pay button is selected.

- To view the customer’s loyalty status and points balance, select Loyalty on the left side of the pay screen before proceeding with the payment.
- If there is no loyalty account attached to the order, the Loyalty button can be used to enter the customers Loyalty information before payment.

- Cashiers can use this information to confirm the customer’s loyalty account details and inform them about their current points status.
