- To retrieve your funds per the funding schedule, close cash must be completed by the cut-off time listed. If close cash is not completed by the cut-off time, deposits will be delayed by one business day.
- Funding schedules show the time funds are released to the bank. Deposit time can vary and are contingent on your bank's schedule.
- Outages, fraud monitoring, and other factors may delay funding and deposits.
- The customer is responsible for maintaining sufficient funds in the bank account to honor any payment obligations.
- CAKE is not liable for chargeback penalties or insufficient funds in the account.
- For payouts of $100,000 or more, funds will be processed the following day due to NACHA regulations.
- Accelerated Funding isn't available for accounts processing only E-commerce transactions on CAKE Payments.
Bank holidays will delay deposits by one business day. Here is a list of known bank holidays that will delay deposits:
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- Presidents' Day
- Memorial Day
- Juneteenth National Independence Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Columbus Day
- Veteran's Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
For holidays falling on Sunday, expect deposit delays as Banks and Branches will be closed the following Monday. For holidays falling on Saturday, deposits won't be affected, as Banks and Branches open the preceding Friday.
