DAVO Overview:

DAVO puts your sales tax on autopilot by automatically setting your sales tax aside each day, then filing and paying it for you on time & in full.  

• DAVO automates every step of the sales tax process – from collecting to filing to paying. 
• Seamless integration with CAKE POS. 

 

How It Works:

• DAVO integrates seamlessly with CAKE POS, tracking every sale made via the system.
• Daily, DAVO automatically withdraws the sales tax amount from your bank account and holds it in a designated DAVO bank account.
• The DAVO Portal provides easy access for you to view the funds set aside for tax obligations.
• When its time to file taxes, DAVO takes charge, preparing and filing your returns promptly and ensuring taxes are paid in full. 

Onboarding Steps:

1. Confirm your Sales Tax is set up correctly in your Admin Portal hub by going to Menu Admin & selecting the Taxes tab.

2. Contact CAKE Support at (855)696-2253 to request to purchase and activate the DAVO integration & provide the following information: 

   • Postal Address 
   • Phone Number 
   • Email 

3. Keep an eye on your email. You will be receiving an email from DAVO to set up your account & provide required information (business information, bank details, etc.).  

4. Once you have successfully set up your DAVO account, you will have access to the DAVO portal & DAVO will automatically start setting aside & collecting sales tax.
