What are Global Modifiers 

Global Modifiers are pre-set modifiers that are always optional and can be added to any available menu items. Global modifiers come with a number of instruction prefixes (add, side, light, extra, sub, and no). Each prefix can be assigned a different price.
 

Configuring Global Modifiers from Menu Admin 

Add standalone global modifiers

1. Navigate to Modifiers > Global Modifiers from Menu Admin

2. Select Add Global Modifier button

3. Add global modifier name

4. Add pricing for individual instruction prefixes

 

5. Select Save to confirm changes

6. Select Publish to push changes to live

Add global modifiers from modifiers

1. Navigate to Modifiers from Menu Admin

2. Select a modifier to bring up the Edit Modifier screen

3. Toggle Is Global Modifier switch to on

4. Select Save to confirm changes

5. Select Publish to push changes to live

Adding Global Modifiers to an Item on the POS 

Add global modifiers from Modifier Screen

1. From ordering screen, select an item you want to add to bring up the modifier screen

2. Scroll down to Global Modifiers section and select Add Global Modifiers to bring up the global modifiers

3. Find global modifiers by navigating between pages using the swipe gesture or by using the search filter and make selections (you can select multiple at once)

4. Select Save to confirm choices. You will be brought back to the modifier screen

5. In the modifier screen you will have the ability to change global modifier quantity, instruction prefixes, and remove global modifiers

6. Select Save in the modifier screen

Add Global Modifiers to an Item from Check View

1. From check view, select an item to bring up the item modification screen

2. Select Modifiers to access the Modifier Screen

3. Scroll down to Global Modifiers section and select Add to bring up the global modifiers

4. Find global modifiers by navigating between pages using the swipe gesture or by using the search filter and make selections (you can select multiple at once)

5. Select Save to confirm choices
