v3 Menu Admin: Taxes

General Taxes 

Create New Taxes

1. Navigate to Taxes -> General  Taxes
2. Select Add Tax
3. Enter Tax Name and Tax Rate
4. Keep This Is Tax Group off
5. Select Save to confirm the changes for publishing later
6. Select Publish to push the changes live

Create New Tax Group

1. Navigate to Taxes -> General Taxes
2. Select Add Tax
3. Toggle This Is Tax Group to On
4. Enter Tax Group Name
5. Use the dropdown to add existing taxes to this group
6. Select Save to confirm the change for publishing later
7. Select Publish to push the changes live

Special Tax Treatments 

• To Go Tax: Selecting Yes will enable the To Go tax rate when configuring menu items
• Service Charge Tax: Selecting yes will enable tax to Service Charge
• Select a Service Charge Tax: If Service Charge Tax is on, choose from an option in the dropdown
• Default Tax: enable a default tax amount for all new menu items
