Operators with both CAKE POS Online Ordering and CAKE Guest Manager can enable an integration that will pull all CAKE Online Ordering takeout orders directly into Guest Manager’s
Order Mode Screen .
Once approved from the POS, Online Takeout orders will show in Guest Manager with the guest name, phone number, visit count and order ID. A configurable
“confirmation” text message is sent from Guest Manager. From there, the operator can message the guest when their order is ready or ask them for their vehicle information in the configurable
“order ready” text message. When the order is marked as complete, a configurable follow up thank you message is sent.
The guest can reply at any time with questions and the operator can respond using pre-set messages or by typing directly in the Guest Manager messaging app.
To enable the integration, make sure both CAKE Online Ordering and CAKE Guest Manager accounts are active and linked (please contact support if you believe your accounts are not already linked) – then enable “Show Orders in Guest Manager” in your CAKE Admin Portal Under
Settings > Online Ordering > Pickup And Delivery.
In the in-app Guest Manager settings, make sure Order Mode is enabled. Use the "takeout box" icon at the top right of the Guest Manager screen to see your list of active takeout orders.
