Menu Report Introduction

Key reports included:

• Sales Category: Offers a detailed breakdown of item sales performance, organized by predefined sales categories.

• Product Category: Provides insights into item sales performance, organized by product categories.

• Product Mix: Offers a comprehensive overview of the distribution and popularity of individual menu items within specific categories.

• Modifier Sales: Provides insights into the impact and popularity of modifiers on menu items.

Menu: Sales Category

• Further Breakdown: Select the arrow to the left of each sales category to access a detailed breakdown of items within the sales category. 

The data table in the Menu: Sales Category Report consists of the following columns:

• Name: Name of the sales categories organized based on the sales categories created for the location
• Quantity (#): Total count of transactions made in each sales category
• Discount ($): Total value of discounts and comps applied to each sales category
• Total Item Sales ($): Total net sales generated by each sales category

Menu: Product Category

• Off Menu Items: Custom items are included in this report under the 'Off Menu Items' category.

• Further Breakdown: Select the arrow to the left of each product category to access a detailed breakdown, providing you with additional insights for each item within the product category.

The data table in the Menu: Product Category Report consists of the following columns:

• Name: Name of the product categories organized based on the categories created for the location
• Quantity (#): Total count of transactions made in each product category
• Discount ($): Total value of discounts and comps applied to each product category
• Total Item Sales ($): Total net sales generated by each product category

Menu: Product Mix

Data Table:

The data table in the Menu: Product Mix Report consists of the following columns:

• Name: Name of the menu items
• Quantity (#): Total count of each menu item sold
• Quantity (%): Percentage of total item sales represented by each menu item
• Average Selling Price: The average amount at which a product is sold over a specific period.
• Discount ($): Total value of discounts and comps applied to each menu item
• Total Item Sales ($): Total net sales generated by each menu item
• Total (%): Percentage of total net sales represented by each menu item
• Average Cost: The average expense incurred to produce or purchase a product, derived from the menu item cost.
• Cost of Goods: The total cost incurred to produce or purchase the goods sold by a business.
• Gross Profit Margin: The percentage of revenue that exceeds the cost of goods sold.

Menu: Modifier Sales

• Further Breakdown: Select the arrow to the left of each Modifier Group to access a detailed breakdown, providing you with additional insights into specific modifier options within the group.

The data table in the Menu: Modifier Sales Report consists of the following columns:

• Name: Name of the modifier groups
• Quantity (#): Total count of modifier applications
• Net Sales ($): Total net sales generated by modifiers
