To use CAKE Loyalty, you must first purchase a subscription through the CAKE Shop.
- Log in to the Admin Portal and select the SHOP icon.
- When prompted to select what services you're looking for, choose the POS option.
- Fill out the Additional Hardware/Services Request Form, then select Next.
- On the hardware list, scroll down to the Additional Services section and add the Loyalty Subscription to your cart by changing the quantity to '1', then select Next.
- Complete the checkout process by agreeing to Terms & Conditions and signing for the order.
Once purchased, the Loyalty feature will become available for activation in your Admin Portal.
- Log in to your Admin Portal account via dashboard.cake.net.
- Locate the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
- Select Settings.
- Under Settings select Loyalty Options.
- Note: If the Loyalty tab isn’t visible, ensure that you’ve purchased the CAKE Loyalty subscription from the CAKE Shop. If it is not visible after purchase contact CAKE Support at (855)696-2253.
You’ll use this menu to access the Loyalty settings and other administrative tools.
To activate CAKE Loyalty, toggle ON the "Activate Loyalty" switch in the Loyalty tab.
After activating, configure the following key settings:
- Include Locations: Specify which restaurant locations will offer the loyalty program.
- Enrollment Method: Choose whether customers enroll using their phone number or email.
- Loyalty Marketing QR Code: Download a QR code for promoting your loyalty program. Display it in your restaurant or on marketing materials for customers to scan and sign up via their phones.
- Guest Portal URL: Copy this link and share it on your website or social media pages for easy guest access to their portal.

Earning Points
- Dollar-to-Points Conversion: Set how much customers need to spend to earn one point (e.g., $10 = 1 point). Taxes and fees are excluded.
- Sign-Up Bonus: Optionally, reward customers with bonus points when they join your program.
- Profile Completion Bonus: Offer extra points for customers who complete their profiles on the Guest Portal.
Redeeming Points
- Points-to-Dollar Conversion: Define how many points customers need to redeem $1 (e.g., 15 points = $1).
- Minimum Order Amount: Set a minimum purchase requirement for redeeming points.
- Maximum Redemption Limit: Optionally, limit the maximum points a customer can redeem per order.
Once you’ve configured your settings, press Save to apply the changes.
